The brief, in three moves

What we built and why.

Problem

Where we started

Five-hundred-attorney national litigation firm — the fastest-growing in the United States — minority-and-women-owned, NAMWOLF-certified, serving Fortune-500 corporate procurement teams that have explicit supplier-diversity mandates. The story that should've led the website — being the largest minority-and-women-owned firm in their space — was a footnote on the About page. Their seventeen-plus practice areas across admiralty, aviation, employment, IP, real estate, regulatory, healthcare, and corporate were undifferentiated.

What we built

Figma-first design with the "QPWB Is Doing Things Differently" hero owning the diversity-mandate angle directly — visually confident, no apology, NAMWOLF certification badge elevated. Custom WordPress build with attorney directory (500+ attorneys), practice-area filter system across ~17 specialties, office-location finder for the multi-state footprint, news/insights publishing flow. ACF Pro powering the attorney profile schema so HR and the marketing team can onboard new attorney pages without engineering.

The brief

QPWB is the fastest-growing litigation firm in the United States and the largest minority-and-women-owned firm in their space. Their corporate clients have explicit supplier-diversity mandates — that's often why QPWB wins the work. The previous website buried that story on the About page like it was incidental information rather than the firm's strategic advantage.

In Figma we built the brand around "QPWB Is Doing Things Differently" — visually confident, no apology, no qualifier. The NAMWOLF certification badge moved to the homepage where general counsel running supplier-diversity searches actually look for it.

What we shipped

Custom WordPress build powering an attorney directory of nearly 500 attorneys with full-text bio search. Practice-area filter system across ~17 specialties (admiralty, aviation, construction, employment, IP, healthcare, regulatory, corporate, tax, real estate, workers' compensation, etc.). Multi-state office-location finder. ACF Pro powering the attorney-profile schema so HR and marketing onboard new attorneys without engineering involvement.
