01 How do we know which CMS is right for our project?
Book a 30-min strategy call. we run through goals, audience, content ops, integrations, team, and budget — then write up a recommendation within 24 hours of the call. The rec is yours to keep, even if we don't work together. It's the fastest way to know.
02 How long does a typical engagement take?
Marketing site rebuilds: 4–7 weeks. Custom Shopify themes: 5–9 weeks. Headless rebuilds: 6–12 weeks. Performance audits: 1–4 weeks. Migrations: 4–10 weeks. The variance is mostly content complexity, not page count.
03 Do you work with agencies?
Yes — under NDA, white-labelled. We're currently retained with multiple agency partners and have capacity for one to two more per quarter. See the white-label service page for the engagement model.
04 What's your pricing?
Most builds are flat-fee, scoped after discovery. Strategy engagements: $3–6k. Theme builds: $15–60k. Headless rebuilds: $40–120k. Performance audits: $4–12k. Agency retainers: 40 / 80 / 120 hrs/mo. Project-specific quotes after our intro call.
05 Do we get the code? What about ongoing maintenance?
Code is yours from commit one. Repo handed over on launch — no subscription, no platform lock-in. Ongoing maintenance is optional. Most clients self-serve after handover; some add a light retainer for performance monitoring + new sections.
06 Will you sign an NDA?
Yes. Mutual NDA before discovery if your project is sensitive. Standard short-form, ~10 minute turnaround. Send your version or I'll send ours.
07 Why not Elementor / Divi / WPBakery?
Performance penalty (200–400KB+ per page), maintenance overhead (constant plugin conflict resolution), migration cost (content stored as platform-specific shortcodes), and accessibility regressions. There's a longer post on this — the short version is page builders are a tax on every future change.
08 Can you fix our existing slow site without rebuilding it?
Usually yes. Most slow WordPress sites have the same five problems: page builder bloat, plugin sprawl, no object cache, oversized images, render-blocking JS. A 2-week performance engagement typically gets sites from 5s+ LCP to under 2s without rebuilding the theme.
09 Where are you based and what timezones do you work?
IST (India). Working hours overlap with EU mornings, US Pacific evenings, US Eastern late afternoon. Async-first by default — Loom + Slack + Notion. Sync calls within those overlap windows.
