A ten-year UK CBD manufacturer finally has a site that separates them from the drop-ship vendors flooding the category.
Love CBD has been manufacturing CBD oils, capsules, balms, vapes, and hemp tea in their own Cambridgeshire facility since 2014 — back when CBD was a fringe category in the UK and nobody had built up the trust signals yet. They built those signals: 5,000+ Trustpilot reviews at 4.9 stars, full lab traceability, proprietary formulations. Then the category got swamped after 2018 by drop-shippers selling the same wholesale oil. Their old site didn't separate the two.

Foregrounding the credibility stack
In Figma we built the brand identity around the credibility numbers that actually matter to a UK CBD buyer: "Est 2014", "5,000+ reviews", "4.9 / 5 stars", "Made in our Cambridgeshire facility". Each got a place on the homepage where it can't be missed. Drop-ship vendors can't fake "ten years in business" or "we make this ourselves" — that gap is the brand's competitive moat.
CBD trial cost matters enormously in this category — a £40 oil bottle is too much of a leap for a curious buyer. We elevated the £6 sample-pack flow to the hero. Buyer commits to £6, gets a labelled selection from across the product range, comes back two weeks later as a returning customer. Conversion path designed around the actual psychology of CBD trial, not around the wishful thinking of the e-commerce template.
Seven product ranges live with full editorial treatment. Sample-pack flow on the hero. 5,000+ Trustpilot reviews surfaced as a homepage trust band. Loyalty Points program running. The Cambridgeshire facility — the actual differentiator — front and centre.
