A Canadian vape retailer that finally reads like an adult-purchase site, not like a vaping parody.
SupaVapes serves adult vapers across Canada — online plus two retail stores. The Canadian vape category is heavily regulated (provincial flavor bans, nicotine-strength caps, age verification, no advertising) and the category default look-and-feel is corner-store-back-shelf. A thirty-five-year-old buyer evaluating a $200 hardware purchase needs the site to feel respectable.

Designing for the adult vaper
In Figma we built a visual system that takes design cues from premium spirits and craft-coffee retail — restrained typography, real product photography, brand-respectful color palette. None of the neon, neither the youth-bait styling, nor the cartoonish iconography that most vape sites default to.
Shopify is the only platform that natively handles all of: age verification on landing, provincial shipping compliance (Ontario vs Quebec rules differ), abandoned-cart recovery, inventory management across two physical retail locations + online, and the weekly SKU churn this category demands. We wired in regional-shipping rules so a buyer in Quebec sees Quebec-compliant flavors and a buyer in Ontario sees the Ontario catalog.
Five buyer-intent product categories live (disposables, pod systems, salt nic, freebase, hardware). One thousand-plus five-star reviews elevated to homepage trust signal. Age-gate flow + regional compliance running cleanly. The site converts adult vapers; the kind of buyer it filters out (anyone underage, anyone in a flavor-banned province) is what the category specifically needs.
